Had a hilarious moment with a 6-year-old today trying to convince him that eating broccoli would make him strong like a dinosaur. He looked me dead in the eyes and said, ‘But dinosaurs didn’t have to eat broccoli!’ Kids sure know how to keep it real, don’t they? Anyone else have amusing stories about trying to promote healthy eating?
, kids are such little truth bombs! I had a similar struggle last week when a kid told me he’d rather have a cookie than ‘some nasty green stuff.’ Sometimes I try to let them pick their veggies — like making a veggie pizza. Do you think that helps get them excited about eating healthier?
It’s wild how they think! I once had a kid tell me that eating carrots wouldn’t make him see better, 'cause his mom never ate them and her eyesight was fine! It drives me nuts when they reject things so outright.
