Assessing trauma cases with confidence

In the ED, every second counts, especially when managing trauma cases. I find that having a go-to mental checklist really speeds up my rapid assessment and decision-making. What strategies do you all use to ensure you’re not missing critical injuries in those high-pressure moments?

I totally get the importance of a mental checklist; I always keep a note of major trauma signs in my mind. doing a quick ABC (Airway, Breathing, Circulation) check right off the bat helps me focus on the critical stuff. What kind of checklist do you find works best under pressure?
